Poster design for the invitational exhibition "Dos Toltecas Camino al Mictlán", that celebrates and homage the legacy two notable mexicans on the contemporary age,of the historian Miguel León-Portilla and the artist Francisco Toledo, sadly, both of them passed away on the recent years.
The exhibition's brief wants to explore the pre-hispanic background studies from Leon-Portilla, and the magical realism from Toledo, mixed with the topic of "Death". So, I just draw and designed a Xoloscuintle, an endemic dog from Mexico, cause in the precolumbian cultures was a sort of guardian in between life and death, so its representation wants to give a magical and full of symbolism, giving two pair of eyes just as two living beings in one that gives an interesting look, also with a graphic treatment that can be understand in many ways.
