I designed a poster for the international invitational exhibition organized by Red Internacional de Creadores Visuales (RINC) with the fantastic topic "Verne and the right to imagine", honoring the huge influence of Julius Verne in the seminal literary genre of science fiction that still remains in the current times.
So I made this design illustrating his face based on the concept of his scientific curiosity and the imaginary act of creating stories in a sort of map with some avant-garde feeling, but also a retro style, but keping his obsessive spirit, the creativity behind all his wonderful legacy througouth the modern life. I dont want to be literal while drawing his face, I want to give and represent an artistic and ethereal, even a futuristic sense of imagination as the main feeling.
